The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Commission on the Status of Women strongly condemns the brutal killing of two sisters named Noor Zari and Shazia Ds/O Doran Shah, murdered near Pauka, University Town Peshawar on 27/01/2018.
On contacting the concerned Police Station the Commission has learnt that the late sisters were brought in an unknown car near University Town suburbs and shot down there. Both sisters belonged to Bara, Khyber agency but were settled in Baba Jee Korona Pavaka, Near University Town Peshawar.
The Commission has written to Inspector General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa demanding an expedited action for the arrest of the culprits involved. The Commission has also offered any support required with regards to the case within its mandate and shall be closely observing the progress and development for ensuring justice to the aggrieved family and further curbing of any such incidents.
