Dr. Samina Afridi has completed her PhD in Ethics, philosophy of gender, Pashtun thought and Culture Modern political thought philosophy of Science.
She is member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Commission on the Status of Women (KPCSW) and teaching various courses of philosophy, including Ethics, Modern European philosophy, Muslim Philosophy and philosophy of sciences, gender sensitive reporting at various departments of Peshawar University, such as Biotechnology, Journalism & Mass Communication and Area study center, university of Peshawar since 2002.
Her major research areas are philosophy Gender, Feminism, Tribal Areas, Pashtun though and culture, women rights, Tribal Women, Women, Afghan Women, Peace & Conflict resolution, Ethics, tribal political thoughts and culture and Oral History.
